I always liked roman symbols and I think there were great designers back then too, not to mention artists like sculptors, painters, etc. However, I didn't want to just copy the classic roman eagle and I added a personal touch trying to make it look more sober.

There is definitely a fascination with eagles among different civilizations and the truth is they really look bad-ass when used as symbols.

The font used is Trajan Pro, another roman inspired thing which I hope everyone has a copy of around. Easy to edit, vectorial PSD.
